A 15-year-old boy has been charged with careless driving after his vehicle hit a deer in South Australia’s Gold Coast.
The teen, who cannot be named, is accused of causing the collision on Sunday evening in Gippsland.
The car struck a 50-kilogram deer on the north side of the road, according to the South Australian State Emergency Service.
The car then hit another deer which ran into the bush and was hit by a bush-vehicle on its way to hospital.
A witness said the driver was in the process of getting his licence when the accident happened.
The driver has been bailed to appear in Adelaide Magistrates Court on November 6.
