Golf courses in the United States are undergoing an “epic” renaissance, with some returning to the top of the game.
But there are also signs of a decline, as golfers are increasingly finding their games less suited to their bodies and increasing levels of injury.
More and more courses are starting to close, and with the popularity of golf declining, the game could be facing another downturn.
There are signs that some golf courses are already losing popularity, according to golf-loving BBC Sport presenter John Leach.
“There is an awful lot of golf courses going out of business right now, which is very unfortunate,” Leach told BBC Sport.
They are now being run by private operators and there is a big decline in golf as a sport, which he says is due to changes in the game’s structure and structure of the golf industry.
“It’s all about profit and loss.
You can’t be competitive in a sport that is so reliant on you for your livelihood.”
In the last decade, the number of golf clubs has fallen by almost 20% from its peak in 2005, according a survey by the US-based US Golf Association.
A large percentage of golfers have taken up the sport at a young age, which has contributed to the decline.
Golf courses are not just about getting to the green, but they are also a way of socialising, says Leach, and that can lead to the development of a healthy lifestyle, which can also help prevent injuries.
Some courses are offering discounts for people who have a medical condition which makes them more susceptible to injury.
“You have to be extremely careful about the sport, especially with the amount of time and money you spend on it,” Leache said.
He also warns that golf clubs are still popular with younger people, who are also often playing more competitively.
The golf course is a part of the sport and has played an important role in the growth of golfing in the US, but many golf courses have closed or been closed by the government.
“There are a lot of closures in golfing,” Leaclough said.
“It is something that is growing, but it is still not what it was 30 years ago.
It is important to be mindful of the fact that you’re not the only one.
You have people who are playing golf and they are not the same people who played golf 30 years before.””
Golf can be great, but if you play at the wrong time or you’re too aggressive or if you don’t take care of yourself it can be deadly.”
