When it comes to golf courses, there’s nothing like a visit to the Stanford Explore Course in Southern California.
Located in the San Francisco Bay Area, the course boasts a 2,600-yard, 14-hole course that is just minutes from San Francisco.
It’s located on the north side of the Golden Gate Bridge, which also is known as the “Pearl Harbor of golf courses.”
The course has been in the works for nearly two decades and has been a favorite of many golfers in the area, as well as the Bay Area and across the country.
Stanford, which has a history of providing courses for golf, recently made headlines after a lawsuit was filed by the Southern California Golf Association (SCGA) against the golf course and its director, Mark H. Wren, claiming that the golf club was not properly paid for the work.
Stanfield has not yet responded to the suit, but is currently working with attorneys to fight the SCGA’s claims.
